Fight the DISCRIMINATION of LUIS FERNANDO CABEZA involving POLICE BRUTALITY
This video contains footage of Luis Fernando Cabeza who was arrested December 30th, 2011 by the Orlando Police Department of Orange County. Cabeza endured multiple baton blows to his legs while lying on the ground. The majority of the blows were served by OFFICER FREDERICK DANTES. Luis Fernando Cabeza currently remains incarcerated.
Cabeza was refused reentry into a Blue Martini Bar. Moments before he was observed by the bar’s security holding hands and kissing his boyfriend while they smoked a cigarette outside. Cabeza stood his ground and refused to be turned away. Officer Frederick Dantes of the OPD, observing the altercation between Cabeza and security, appeared on the scene.
When Cabeza walked away from Officers Dantes he was tasered in the back. He fell to the ground and the video captures the ensuing actions taken by the police. Unable to walk due to the blows and having suffered multiple bleeding facial wounds, he was brought to South Florida Hospital.
This video captures a small portion of the incident. Cabeza’s brother, filming the incident, was arrested after refusing to put away his phone and discontinue filming. His money and phone were confiscated by the police. Only his phone was returned after his release from jail.

Cabeza quien se encontraba con su familia compartiendo de un grato momento en Blue Martini bar se le negó el reingreso a dicho local. Eso paso después de haber sido observado por la seguridad de la barra de la mano y besando a su novio mientras se fumaba un cigarrillo fuera del local. Cabeza se mantuvo firme y se negó a ser rechazados. El Oficial Frederick Dantes de la OPD, observando el altercado entre Cabeza y la seguridad, apareció en la escena.
Cuando El oficial se alejo de Cabeza para luego propiciandole la primera descarga electrica por la espalda. Cabeza cayo y video empieza en ese momento. Incapaz de caminar debido a los golpes y de haber sufrido varias heridas sangrantes facial, fue llevado al sur de la Florida Hospital.
Este video capta una pequeña parte del incidente. El hermano de Fernando Cabeza, Miguel Cabeza quien estuvo filmando los hechos, fue arrestado después de negarse a dejar de filmar los hechos con su telefono. Su dinero y el teléfono fueron confiscados por la policía. Sólo su teléfono fue devuelto después de su salida de la cárcel.
